HARMON FIELD PROJECT / FUND RAISER
Okmulgee Public Schools is seeking funding to replace the grass surface at Harmon Field with synthetic turf.The community of Okmulgee recognizes by investing in year-round synthetic turf, they will dramatically improve the functionality of the stadium, while at the same time dramatically reducing the yearly labor and maintenance cost.No longer will the weather, fertilizer, equipment, top seeding/re-sodding, water, line-paint or over-usage be an issue for the citizens of Okmulgee.
In addition to enhancing athletic/band competitions and practices, the new field will benefit the general student population as well as the community as a whole.With the new synthetic surface, the field will now be able to support a wide variety of activities such as physical education classes, youth sports, as well as numerous other community events.In short, this new synthetic turf surface will serve as a multi-purpose field for everyone in Okmulgee to utilize and enjoy for many years to come.
Okmulgee Public Schools is offering several ways in which you can help the community reach this goal. Opportunities include sewn-in-field logos, building naming rights, as well as an individualized brick walkway at the entrance of stadium.
