Okmulgee Public Schools Announces Change of Venue for 2025 Graduation Commencement Ceremony

Okmulgee Public Schools has announced that the 2025 graduation commencement ceremony, originally scheduled to take place at Harmon Stadium, will now be held at Brock Gymnasium. The ceremony will still occur on May 17, 2025, at 8:00 PM.

This venue change is due to ongoing construction at Harmon Stadium, which has made the location unsuitable for large public events. Brock Gymnasium, located on the Okmulgee High School campus, will provide an indoor space to ensure a safe, comfortable, and memorable ceremony for graduates and their families.

“We are excited to celebrate our graduates, and while the change in venue is necessary due to the construction at Harmon Stadium, we are confident that Brock Gymnasium will offer a great atmosphere for this important occasion,” said LuVona Copeland, Superintendent of Okmulgee Public Schools. “We appreciate the community’s understanding and support as we continue to enhance our facilities.”

The graduation ceremony is a significant milestone for the Class of 2025, and Okmulgee Public Schools is committed to making it a special event for all involved. Any additional details will be announced on Okmulgee Public Schools Facebook page.
