Dunbar Intermediate School is a proud part of the Okmulgee community, rooted in tradition and dedicated to guiding students in grades 5 through 8 through some of their most important years of growth. These middle grades are a time of exploration and discovery, and at Dunbar, we help students build a strong academic foundation in reading, math, science, and social studies. Along the way, they also get to enjoy enriching experiences through band, athletics, and agricultural education. As they take on more responsibility, we focus on strengthening their study habits, confidence, and independence to ensure they’re ready for high school and beyond.
